About LabBits...

The name is inspired by the dual meaning of the term bits; firstly the obvious link is towards IT where a BIT is an acronym for Binary Information Transition lying at the basis of all software. Secondly the name is inspired by the continuing need for tailored small applications, macros, scripts and what not that scape the landscape of automation in contemporary laboratories. Despite a vast number of well accepted software titles it seems that each laboratory has its own specific mix of hardware and business requirements demanding some degree of customization. This is where LabBits comes into play because we might be able to deliver just that data parser, conversion tool, barcode printer or software tool that allows you to enhance your existing software investments.
